We want everyone to come and bring a friend to Jan’s Thursday night to the sit ‘n knit!  We are going to have some doorprizes!  Whoo-hoo!  We have a gift certificate for a haircut from Luxe Salon by Roxanne (most of us know how coveted this is!), a Blu Gertrude headband, a Hot•Heads bag and several skeins of yarn!

We are going to make smores and hang out, visit and knit!  Come from 7pm to 9pm and bring a friend!

Directions to Jans:  Get on Rice Road (Cock of the Walk) and follow to the Stop sign at Post Road.  Turn Right onto Post Road.  Follow until you get to Overlook Pointe.  Turn Right into the subdivision, and then take the first Right on to Overlook Point Circle.  Jan’s house is the fourth house on the left.

You guys are doing a fantastic job with all of the hats you’ve been knitting…THANK YOU!  We have multiple opportunities to provide gift hats between now and Christmas, so keep up the pace – so far we’re looking at 1500 hats requested ! Our goal for Handworks is 600!

We’re getting ready for Handworks,  and are staying busy knitting hats and Christmas stockings!  We’ve already had the privilege of giving hats this season, and more opportunities are lining up.   Please bring the hats and stockings you’ve completed with you, so we can get them labeled and ready to go!

Don’t forget to sign up for the Advanced Class on Thursday, October 14. We’ll cover vertical stripes, chevron stripes, and different stitches. It’s great if you’re bored with the plain e-wrap stitch.
